ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
The annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 25, following the 10:15 service. Please plan to join us as we review the church’s happenings for 2014, elect new vestry members, and look forward in 2015. As in past years, there will be a potluck brunch. Bring your favorite dishes and specialties as you usually do!
Things to pick up:
If you haven’t already done so, please remember to pick up the following things near the front entrance of the sanctuary:
2015 Calendar: These are free, and very handy to have!
Your offering envelopes: For members of St. James, your offering envelopes are on the window sill, please look for your name.
DAUGHTERS OF THE KING
Calling All Women of Faith! The Daughters of the King - Selah Chapter of St. James will be having a meeting on Sat. Jan 31st @10 am in the chapel. Our organization is about being the "hope lifters" of our family, church and the world at large; we do this through prayer and community service.
All are welcome, please join us!
As we close this year and begin a new one, please keep the St. James Fair in mind. As you come across items of some value that you don't use or like; please set them aside for our September event. If you or someone you know is downsizing or settling an estate, keep us in mind. All donations will receive a taxreceipt. Carol and Jerry have pledged a real live boat to the fair! Such items create excitement and visibility for the event. Another need is storage space, if you can hold your donations until September great; if not, we are looking for free or cheap storage space so we can collect enough donations to meet or beat a $10,000 goal. Please feel free to reach out to me at: email@example.com
Here's to the next 150 years of St. James!
ST.BRIGID’S FOOD PANTRY
Please remember to give to St. Brigid’s food pantry. Canned and boxed items are accepted, as well as personal hygiene items. Please leave donated items in the containers marked “St. Brigid’s".
Our Parish Administrator is a fountain of information about all things St. James - and is also one of the kindest, friendliest, most helpful people you could wish to meet.
