HAPPY ANNIVERSARY:

July 2: Joe and Victoria Nagtalon

PRAYER CHAIN:
Please keep the following people in your prayers:

Brian Meagher (broken foot)
Charlotte, daughter of Mary Meagher (recovering from surgery)
Sylvia Trent (recovering from heart issues)

SPECIAL PROJECT:
BarbaraOlsavsky has initiated a Women of St.James Outreach Program, designed to help those in our own parish who might need assistance.  Please see Barbara for more details on what is needed.  If you are making a contribution using an offering envelope, please mark the envelope specifically for that donation.

OUTREACH:
Please remember St.Brigid’s Food Pantry.
Donations of cereals (and other food items) are especially appreciated.
Also, please bring in personal hygiene items for St. Brigid’s clients as well (shampoo, soap, etc.).  These will be collected here on the first Sunday of each month (there’s a basket marked “St. Brigid’s” in the back of the sanctuary). St. Brigid’s is sorely in need of volunteers to help with food prep, cooking, cleaning and the set up of the food bags that their clients take home. Volunteer hours are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 11-4.  Please see Jim Hicks or Dave Harrison for more information.
PARISH LIFE:
As always,if you have any events going on in the church (committee meetings, etc.) or other announcements, and you would like the congregation to know about it, please make sure that you tell your parish administrator!  Send an emailto stjamesetwn@verizon.net, or call the church office at 732-542-0818 and leave a message.  I would be more than happy to include your announcements in the weekly email and in the Sunday announcement insert.

FATHER’S DAY:  Sunday, June 15
If you wish to remember your “Dad” or some other special man in your life, please consider making an offering in that person’s name for FATHER’S DAY for June 15.  The Parish will have a special gift for all the fathers and father figures at St. James at the Holy Eucharist.  Please use the Special Offering Envelopes available in the pews!

CHOIR - Come join us!!
A personal thank-you from Gretchen to everyone who has volunteered their voices and their time to sing in the St.James choir!  Together, we make a most joyful noise!  If you are interested in  joining us, we meet for about 15 minutes after the Sunday service, where we learn new (and sometimes old) hymns to sing along with the congregation.  Everyone is welcome, no musical experience is necessary.

OUTREACH: Please remember St. Brigid’s during this spring season.  Donations of cereals (and other food items) are especially appreciated.  Also, please bring in personal hygieneitems for St.

Bible study will resume after Labor Day!
