Special Notes

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE and Special Lenten Services can be found on our website home page.

BIRTHDAY WISHES:
April 4: Lou Cooke (Belated but heart-felt!)

FUNDRAISER: DINNER WITH A TASTE OF BROADWAY for Saturday April 26... Doors open at 6 PM... Dinner at 6:30 (salad, chicken, parmigiana with penne vodka, rolls, dessert, coffee and tea... with BYOB...) The show will start at 8 PM---  with The Night on Broadway Company!  Tickets are only $25.00 each and seating will be limited....
As you may expect, our expenses went up this winter for snow removal and heat and the budget could use a little “shoring up.” So please make an effort to support this event or make a special Easter offering to continue the good works of St. James.

EASTER FELLOWSHIP:  There will be a Parish "champagne breakfast" and the annual Easter Egg Hunt for the"kids" after the Easter Service.

OUTREACH:  The Lenten Project for the Parish is to raise money to replace the sign in the front, hopefully with an electric one… A special collection will be taken up on Palm Sunday for this purpose.

Sylvia Trent wishes to remind us all that this is the First Sunday of the Month and can you please remember to bring your toiletries, soaps, shampoos, etc. for use at our friends at St. Brigid's!  A basket will be available at the Narthex for your generous donations....

We now have 192 boxes of cereal that have been collected, but Dave Harrison has revised the goal to 400-- one each for the families per month that St. Brigid's serves...

HOT OFF THE PRESSES:
THE LONG AWAITED PARISH DIRECTORIES WERE DISTRIBUTED THREE WEEKS AGO.  COPIES WILL BE PLACED IN THE PEWS AND IN THE NARTHEX.... THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED.  YOU WILL SEE THAT ST. JAMES IS A THRIVING AND GROWING PARISH..... MAY WE CONTINUE TO DO SO UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF FR. RIVOLTA AND THE VESTRY FOR MANY YEARS TO COME!!!!

IF THERE ARE ANY CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS, PLEASE GET THEM TO THE PARISH ADMINISTRATOR ASAP!
