Weekly Notes:

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:
Our annual Vacation Bible School program for kids will be held this year on Tuesdays, July 7, 14, 21 and 28.  The sessions go from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  This year's theme is Bullying and the Bible.  We are looking for volunteers to provide a light supper and dessert each week.  Please see Robin McKeever for more information.

SERVICE SCHEDULE:
REMINDER: St. James will go to one worship service in the months of July and August, beginning at 9:00 am.

REMINDERS:
Bible Study and Centering Prayer are currently on hiatus until September.

WOMEN'S GROUP MEETING: First Tuesday of each month.

THE DAUGHTERS OF THE KING, INTERCESSORY PRAYER:
Our next session of intercessory prayer will be on Sat. June 27th @10am, in the chapel. We will then recess till Sept.  All are invited to attend!!

PROJECT BACKPACK:
St. James is once again participating in Project Backpack, which will benefit needy children of all ages in the area.  The backpacks and supplies will be collected on Sunday, July 19.  Please pick up a copy of the list of specific items that are needed, which will be in the back of the sanctuary this Sunday.

ST. BRIGID’S FOOD PANTRY:
Please continue to donate to the St. Brigid’s food pantry.  At this time of year, children are out of school, and many families are in need of an extra meal to feed those children. Donations of cereal and other food items are greatly appreciated.

ST. JAMES FAIR – SEPTEMBER 18 & 19
The boat and trailer donated by Carol and Jerry was sold on Ebay, for over $1200, giving us a wonderful start to our St. James Fair!  We could use some moveable shelving for this and future Fairs if you have some to donate.  Moving boxes, copier paper boxes with lids, and brown paper grocery bags are needed too. We have a BEAUTIFUL full-length white fox coat by Adolfo, ladies size 18 in the sale. Look fabulous at a fraction of retail!  More news as it happens!  --Kevin
