ATTENTION ALL SINGERS:
ST. JAMES SINGERS (and aspiring singers!)
8:30am hymn-sing this Sunday. Come join us!
We have approximately 50 cases of Handy Wipe type new towels donated for sale! (We have donated several cases to St. Brigid's Pantry.) A case of 1000 is only $15, a retail value of $290!
Contact David Harrison 732-406-9667 or Kevin Kelly 646-258-2935.
We need them all sold and picked up by the end of coffee hour on Sunday. Orders can be taken for more, but not until this stock is sold and picked up. This is a wonderful, lint-free, washable, re-useable product that is perfect for home, workshop, cars, painting, and more!
Please share this shoppertunity with your friends and family.
St. James has received a large thank you card, signed by all the children that received backpacks and supplies in our latest drive. The card will be displayed in the vestibule in the back of the sanctuary, check it out!
Womens Group meeting: First Tuesday of each month.
One service in July and August, at 9:00 am.
Bible Study and Centering Prayer are on hiatus until September.
ST. BRIGID’S FOOD PANTRY:
Please continue to donate to the St. Brigid’s food pantry. At this time of year, children are out of school, and many families are in need of an extra meal to feed those children. Donations of cereal and other food items are greatly appreciated.
ST. JAMES FAIR – SEPTEMBER 18 & 19
Please don’t forget to distribute the St. James Fair letters to your neighbors, and remind them that every little bit helps. No donation is too big or too small! We can still use some moveable shelving for this and future Fairs, if you have some to donate. Moving boxes, copier paper boxes with lids, and brown paper grocery bags are needed too. More news as it happens! --Kevin.
Our Parish Administrator is a fountain of information about all things St. James - and is also one of the kindest, friendliest, most helpful people you could wish to meet.
